Future G - Norman Grindley
Up-and-coming reggae/dancehall artiste Future G is hoping to tap into the local music fan base with the release of his new singles Woman Bare Di Pain and Tek It To Them. According to the artiste who is working with Mandeville-based Hipa Side records, Woman Bare Di Pain has the potential to be his breakthrough single. positive songs "Mi always duh positive songs, but this song was inspired by my daughter and my babymother. I was doing a different song on the rhythm, but because of my experience at the time, I decided to write about it. People are telling me that I can't just sit down with this song and that I need to promote it more, because it is a good song. So far, it is getting some plays on the radio. I just want more support so that people can get to know it," Future G said. The artiste plans to shoot a music video for the single in the near future. However, he currently hopes that the media will assist him in solidifying the song as a hit record. "I want to shoot the video, but I just want to get it out more. I also have another single called Tek It To Dem which I am promoting. I won a clash show on Jenny Jenny programme using it, so I am pushing that one as well. Right now, I am just looking at avenues to get my music out, but it is difficult because you have to know people and have contacts to get your material out. But I keep my music clean and always be myself," Future G said. The artiste also has exclusive singles which are expected to be released in coming months, songs such as Mi Need Her and Badmind Prayer and a few more. "People who want to reach me for shows or recording can contact me at 850-5078. You can expect good, clean music from me," he said. |
