The St Andrew Central police are investigating the shooting death of a man in the August Town community last night.

It is reported that Kevin Moore, otherwise called 'Painty', was gunned down by unknown assailants about 8:35 p.m.

Up to press time last night, details surrounding the shooting incident were sketchy.

Investigations are ongoing.
