Kareem Burke, 22, of Central Road in Big Lane, Central Village, St Catherine, was yesterday arrested and charged with illegal possession of ammunition following an operation at his home.

Reports from the Central Village police are that about 11 a.m., a team of officers conducted an operation at Burke's home, during which 15 assorted rounds of ammunition were found in the ceiling of a room in the house.

He was subsequently arrested and charged.

He is to appear before the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court on December 4.
