Accused Jamaican wanted in Florida

A Jamaican man who has been accused of trying to kill his girlfriend with a steak knife is wanted by the cops in Florida.

He is 47-year-old Raphael Brown.

According to reports on www.miamiherald.com, Brown allegedly stabbed the woman numerous times with a steak knife last week and he has not been seen since.

It is reported that he is being sought on a charge of first-degree attempted murder following the attack which took place during an argument in central Lauderhill about 4 o'clock Tuesday morning.

A statement from the police reportedly said Brown has no prior criminal record but he is considered armed and dangerous.

Investigators also believe that he may have fled to his native Jamaica.

It is reported that his girlfriend is said to be recovering at the Broward Health Medical Center.
