Sharon Stone sells Beverly Hills mansion

Sharon Stone has sold her Beverly Hills mansion for $6.575 million.

The Basic Instinct actress originally bought the seven-bedroom mansion in 2006 for $10.95 million but after putting it on the market a few years ago, she had struggled to sell it, so decided to cut her losses and accept over $4 million less than what she paid for it. The spectacular Mediterranean house - which was built in 1991 - sits on 4.85 acres at the end of a private road in the prestigious 90210 zip code. As well as seven bedrooms, the property boasts high ceilings, a panelled library with built-in bookcases and a living room with wet bar, while the home's master suite includes a fireplace, dual bath and dressing rooms and an enormous private terrace. Outside, the property boasts a large motor court with covered parking for 14 vehicles, beautiful landscaping and winding pathways over bridges, as well as waterfalls, a fruit tree grove, meditation garden and tennis court. However, the mother of three will be staying in Beverly Hills as she also owns another house in the area, which she bought for $3.25 million in 1995.
