'Life Goes On' doing well |

![]() Montego Bay-based recording artiste Rickey Teetz has been kicking up a storm with his new single Life Goes On, which has been generating excellent airplay in the Caribbean, and several countries in Europe and Africa. The song, which speaks about the upliftment of life regardless of obstacles, has generated a lot of buzz with a popular video also featuring another song called Poverty Life. The video has become a regular fixture for the past two months on the CVM Hitlist countdown charts, and now the video has hit the No. 1 spot. "It feels great that the song is number one. The fans voted and the song was number one last week on the countdown, the video is also playing on RE TV, HYPE TV, MD TV, CVM Plus and several other local and international stations, so it is giving me a lot of exposure," Rickey Teetz said. He has performed in several parishes across Jamaica, building a household name for himself, especially in western Jamaica. The artiste has recently recorded a powerful song with veteran Warrior King called Forward which has gained critical and commercial appeal. Two weeks ago, he released a new video called So Wild/ Wen Wi A Party featuring fellow Montego Bay-based artiste Jessie James of the Inspired Music Concepts label. The new videos featured songs that were recorded for Que Da Wiz and Inspired Music Concepts. Versatile artiste "So Wild/Wen Wi A Party are party songs showcasing another side of the versatile artiste. On November 24, I will Rickey Teetz's "It was a pleasant surprise when I got the top new artiste award from 3B Entertainment for my conscious songs, it meant a lot to me," he said.
