His latest hit comes in the form of the Good Good Productions-produced single, I'm Coming.

In a release to the media, Konshens spoke about the track as well as the upcoming video shoot.

"The response to I'm Coming has been good so far. It's one of those songs that, once you hear it, you fall for it. People really love it," said Konshens.

I'm Coming is fast racing up local charts and, at last check, was number nine on the ER Top 10. The song follows on the heels of the artiste's previous 2012 hits Do Sumn, Stop Sign, A So Mi Tan, Gal A Bubble and Siddung.

An online video competition to find a lead girl for the I'm Coming video was recently conducted. The winner will receive an all-expense-paid trip for two to Jamaica.

According to Konshens, the video is scheduled to be completed next week. It will be directed by a team consisting of Dameon Gayle and Gareth Cobran.

Entries from girls interested in being the lead girl in the video came from all over the world.

"We received a whole heap of video from all bout. Twitter has been on fire and girls are really excited about it," said an excited Konshens.

The selection process is now in progress.

Aside from the upcoming video shoot, Konshens has been busy performing around the world. The recent MOBO Award nominee has also been working in the studios on various singles.

Finding that balance

"I'm currently working on finding that balance with reggae and dancehall, as my reggae or (medz) songs nah bus like di dancehall dem, even though I give them the same level of promotion. So mi a turn it up more pon dem cah di business need it," said Konshens.

Among the songs he recently completed are Don't Diss Mama (UIM Records); Mr. Judge (Bobby Digital); Ruff A Road (Head Concussion); Shot a Fyah (Warrior Music); and Jiggle (Dre Day).

The School Rule rhythm project is fresh out of the Subkonshus Music stables and, according to Konshens, this is a project directed at educating, warning and giving advice to school children. Among the artistes featured are Delus, Darrio, Aidonia, Popcaan, Sheba, Voicemail and others.

"The songs on the School Rule will contain topics directed at school kids and their development," Konshens pointed out.

Konshens recently appeared on America's Next Top Model cycle 19 aired episode 9, which was filmed in Jamaica.

He was selected as the guest judge for that particular episode, and his chart-topping song Do Sumn was also featured.

"It was a good experience and an opportunity to gain national exposure," Konshens commented.
