Fresh off their disappointment of not qualifying for the Ben Francis KO, de-fending ISSA/Gatorade/Digicel daCosta Cup champions Rusea's High will headline three sets of matches as the Inter-Zone round gets under way today.

Rusea's will face Manning's School at the Frome Sports Complex at 3 p.m.

Two other games are on today in inter-zone action as Lennon High tackle Bellefield High at Brancourt and Maggotty High meet Tacius Golding High at St Elizabeth Technical (STETHS) in the other scheduled game.

At the weekend, defending champions STETHS and Grange Hill High qualified for the Ben Francis KO final after impressive semi-final wins. STETHS blanked a lacklustre Paul Bogle High 2-0 while Grange Hill came from behind to stop Manchester 2-1 in Montego Bay.

At STETHS, Jason Jacobs scored the opener in the 26th minute for the defending champions and Rohan Lindsay made it 2-0 in the 72nd minute.

In Montego Bay, Delroy Miller gave Manchester High the lead in the 52nd minute but Norman Malcolm (64th) and Akem Shackleford (81st) hit back to earn victory for Grange Hill.

In two boys Badminton Schools League ties played last week, Calabar High, spearheaded by Caribbean junior champion Jamari Rose, defeated Jamaica College 5-0 at the Constant Spring Golf Club while Wolmer's Boys edged St George's College 3-2 at the Wolmer's Girls School auditorium.

Two scheduled girls' matches, Wolmer's Girls vs The Queen's School and St Hugh's High vs St Jago High, were not played due to the passage of Hurricane Sandy.

>>BASKETBALL

The 2012 ISSA/KFC Under-19 and Under-16 Basketball competitions continue tomorrow.

In the feature game, Kingston College will tackle St Catherine at Clovelly Park, North Street. In the day's other games, St Jago will entertain Innswood, Tivoli Gardens await Charlie Smith and Camperdown battle Meadowbrook.

The Under-16 matches will start at 2 p.m. while the Under-19 games are set for 3:30 p.m.

>>NETBALL

The ISSA/Digicel Rural Area netball competition continues today with a full slate of matches.

Games on: Guys Hill High vs Tacius Golding High, Old Harbour High vs Charlemont High, St Mary High vs Iona High, St Thomas Technical vs Yallahs High, Happy Grove High vs Seaforth High, Titchfield High vs Fair Prospect High, Buff Bay High vs Brimmervale High.
