Ganja seized in North Parade |

The Kingston Central police yesterday morning seized several bags of ganja in North Parade, downtown Kingston. Reports reaching THE WEEKEND STAR are that about 1:15 a.m., the driver of a Toyota Corolla motor car was signalled to stop after disobeying a traffic light along Spanish Town Road. Our news team was told the vehicle was later intercepted on North Parade, where the occupants allegedly ran from the vehicle. The police reportedly gave chase and accosted the men. The vehicle was subsequently searched and five garbage bags containing vegetable matter resembling ganja were seized. The police said that investigations into the matter continue. |
