Murder suspects released

The police say three of four persons who were in custody for the murder of the former Senior Superintendent Tony Hewitt have been released.

In a release yesterday, the police report that following the conduct of identification parades on Wed- nesday, Jermaine Smith, also called 'Duppy Bat', Raymond Francis, also called 'Redhead', and Jomo McLeod were released from custody.

The fourth suspect Omar McDonald, nicknamed ' Devvy', was charged for another murder which was committed in 2007.

Smith and Francis were both listed as persons of interest, while McLeod and McDonald voluntarily turned themselves in to the police.
