They say great legends come once every generation. Reo has proven he is a force to be reckoned with in music. With his latest tracks, which have gained local and international recognition, Reo has put critics to rest as he shows the world reggae music is still alive.

Described as 'soothing' and 'emotional', Reo's sound has been appealing to a wide cross section of listeners, locally and internationally. The talented artiste continues to touch, deeply, everyone who comes into contact with his music.

From Kingston, Reo's love for old-school reggae, blues and soul can be quickly recognised in his songs.

"I just love listening to Reo's music. If I come home from a hard day's work, I want to just chill with a glass of red wine and listen to something soothing Reo has that down to a 'T'," said an excited fan.

Movie Deal

Some of Germany's notable entertainment directors, who scout outstanding artistes for soundtracks for the big screen, jetted to Jamaica, to meet with the artiste, for an impending movie deal.

"I had a CEO of a leading entertainment company in Europe, that reached out to me, and said they loved my songs, and they have identified a movie that would be great for my sound. Nothing is signed yet in black and white, but it's a definite go for me," said Reo.

New video to debut

However, as the artiste continues to maintain his momentum, songs like Struck By Love, Stay Together and Only You have been receiving rave reviews from fans and colleagues. Also, the video for Soothing Company has been dominating the countdown charts. Reo, also has a video in the pipeline for the track Only You, which is slated to be released in coming weeks.

"Right now, I am doing some serious promotion, to keep the momentum going. Now that I have my music rotating on the airwaves, which I would love to rotate some more, that has even propelled, me even more, to keep making music ... good music," said Reo.

T-Shirt line

The Europeans can't seem to get enough of the artiste's sound and style. Bitten by the 'Reo bug', a famous European artiste who has done work for a slew of famous singers, has expressed interest in designing some shirts for Reo.

"My publicist told me of an artiste who heard my songs and said he would love to start a T-shirt Line promoting my image. I am looking forward for that in 2013."

Tours and musical projects

It's always non-stop sweat and work for the artiste, as he strives to make more hits in studio. He is now gearing up for some mini tours of Europe. The young entrepreneur and reggae artiste recently completed a photo shoot for his website. He also wants fans to check out his twitter page: ReoSoulmusic.

"I am now focusing on reggae and dubstep, also, I have been zoning in more on reggae as long term, because it has more of an effect on the minds of fans and the market, internationally."

When asked what were his plans for the coming year, Reo quickly noted, "Music with substance, that will always compete globally. I also want to assure my fans to keep voting for me on the charts, and I will always surprise them, I have my eyes set on the gold."
