Today, we continue with our buzz-worthy feature, Paternity Puzzle. Below is the winning story for the month of August.

After weeks of suspense and anxiety, the highly anticipated result for September's winner (Men war for baby) of THE STAR Paternity Puzzle feature is finally here.

A great deal was resting on the result of the DNA test done last week but the outcome wasn't a great surprise to 25-year-oldCorey Walters. Though he was elated, his 28-year-old ex-girlfriendAbigail Jones, simply expressed, "Really? Really? and mi go do something weh mi nuh fi do."

For the second time in a row, THE STAR'S Paternity Puzzle feature returned positive result from a DNA Test.

When the result was being given to them, Walters was the first of the two to view the finding. He quickly handed back the paper and requested that THE STAR explain the result as he was nervous.

"Dem tell mi three days before mi know the result and from the third day come, mi eager fi find out," said Walters.

Walters, a site labourer from time to time, in an earlier interview with THE STAR reasoned, "Mi nuh really have no doubts that this little boy is mine enuh but a because mi give up the first one (Abigail's third child) to her first babyfather ... Now I want to be sure and prove to him that this boy is my son."

It had also been revealed that since the child's birth on July 3, the child had not been registered because of this uncertainty about who was the father.

However, immediately after the result became known to both parents, Jones made a startling revelation.

She said, "mi nuh know weh come over mi but I went ahead and register the baby inna mi first babyfather name last week."

They went on to explain to the THE STAR that they have been at odds since their interview in August, and most recently they parted ways under violent circumstances which has led to a court date on October 12.

But despite the upcoming court issues Walters claims, "Mi feel good still cause mi know say a my youth. Mi aunty dem and mi father done a tell mi say it couldn't hide. Mi a walk wid dem papers here go court cause mi need fi get mi child registered properly."

She said: Mi feel good, yes, but the way him a gwan, mi can't deal wid him so mi jus done with a relationship with him. Mi did haffi tek out a summons pan him cause weh day him see me and mi first babyfather a walk and him rush we and nearly mek we drop the baby. Mi can't bother with that yah man."

In response, Walters stated that "If she wants to be by his side with her first kids, that's fine with me. A jus mi baby mi ago take care of. Mi feel good enuh but right now I still need fi know if the one I gave up to him was mine as well and actually my 'first' child.

Abigail: "Betty (the third child) is not his, do more test fi wah? No more relationship, all him afi do is mine di little boy. You see like how him know a fi him own, him a go walk and tell the whole community, him nuh hold dung nothing."

He said: "Mi haffi go make mi fada know first cause since the test everybody inna di place a ask (smiling)."

She said: "Well at least him can send on the pampers, feeding and clothes weh him have up deh and never want gi mi. Just watch mi and him man, watch, cause him nuh like tek talk."
