A six-timer from forward Lennox Russell guided Charlie Smith High to a massive 14-0 win over Meadowbrook in their ISSA/Gatorade/Digicel Manning Cup Group G clash at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex yesterday. Russell, a member of Arnett Gardens' KSAFA Under-20 team, improved his tally to 10 goals this season. He netted a four-timer against Ardenne in Charlie Smith's 8-0 win in their opening encounter last week. Roylon Paisley also scored a double yesterday. Charlie Smith who defeated Kingston College 1-0 last Saturday, moved their win record to three from three and their overall goal tally to 23 for and none against. performance "The performance was on and off. The amount of chances we created was far more than those which were scored, so we still have a lot more work to do," said Charlie Smith coach, Jerome Waite. "But I am OK with where we are at right now, as the more matches we play, I believe the better we are going to get," he added. The defeat was Meadowbrook's third in a row after going down 7-0 to Kingston College in their opening game, and 3-0 to St Andrew Technical in their second. The group's other encounter between Ardenne and St Andrew Technical at Ardenne ended in a goalless draw.
