![]() The family of popular dancer Mystic is insisting that she is okay despite several speculations following a message sent out Friday night on BlackBerry Mess-enger declaring she had gone missing. When contacted by THE STAR, Mystic's sister and alleged creator of the broadcast DJ Naz said, "Why are you asking about her (Mystic)? ... She is fine ... She just left the house and didn't return the time that she was suppose to ... We got a bit worried, but everything is fine now." During the telephone conversation with Naz our news team was asked to hold and another woman who gave her name only as 'Rachel' came online. She introduced herself to THE STAR as the attorney for DJ Naz and also said that she represented the family. deny speculations She went on to deny speculations currently circulating that Mystic had mental issues or claims of substance abuse. "There is nothing of the sort ... Mystic is ok and everything is alright ... Let it be said ... I am the attorney representing DJ Naz and on behalf of the family, she is ok ..." Rumours circulated on Saturday alleging mental illness and substance abuse that had led to Mystic wandering off from her family. Twitter, Facebook and BlackBerry Messenger were used to spread these claims. There were also older and recent photos of the dancer being posted around which claimed that there were changes in her appearance. A message was also circulated on Saturday that declared that the dancer was found. Mystic has earned several accolades over the years and has steadily built a brand for herself, appearing in quite a number of corporate commercials and music videos. Since news broke of her safe return, fans of the dancer took to social media to air their concerns and best wishes for her and her family during this time. One of the comments read, "Thank God they found her ... Humble girl", and another person expressed, "Thank God they found her ... was worried sick for her dad ... " |
