Ryon Jones, Staff Reporter When Tivoli Gardens and Harbour View meet they always bring the best out of each other according to the west Kingston team's assistant coach Alvin Shaw, and he expects nothing different when the two clash this Sunday at the Edward Seaga Complex with kick-off set for 5 p.m. The defending champions, Tivoli Gardens, secured their first victory in two attempts last week after edging Montego Bay United 1-0 courtesy of an Akeen Thenstead goal and Shaw is keen for his team to secure back-to-back victories. "Whenever the teams meet they normally play their best games; we bring the best out of each other," Shaw said. "We are looking to get another win; it would be good for the team. The fans were there for the first match when we lost, so it would be good to give them a win." Shaw is, however, conscious of Harbour View's attacking capabilities and therefore believes his team will have to play good defensively. "We know that they (Harbour View) play attacking football, so we can't afford to be too open, but we will be playing attacking football as well," Shaw shared. Tivoli's coaching staff has made it known that the aim is to survive this season, as they are in a rebuilding phase. Some of the defending champions' senior players have moved on, while captain Kasai Hines, Christopher Jackson and Edsel Scott have recently resumed training after returning to the island but are not expected to feature tomorrow. "The senior players are back in training, but we are not going to change the team," Shaw said. "We are going to continue with the youngsters and let the senior players work on their fitness some more, as they have a lot to offer to the team." Sustain hopes Tivoli Gardens got the better of the meetings between the teams last season, registering two defeats in their four meetings with Harbour View - winning one while the other ended in a draw. The Stars of The East will need to produce the goods to sustain their hopes of making it to the first-end-of-round final, after suffering a surprise 1-0 loss last week to promoted Savannah, with Shane Anderson scoring in the 90th minute. "Our first aim is to make it to the first end-of-round final, so we need to get some wins; any loss is a setback, so we go into every game looking to win," Harbour View's head coach Vin Blaine said. "Tivoli is a totally different team, so I don't know much about them and Harbour View is also a different team, so it is what happens on the day," he added.
