Local netball club Marine Park remained unbeaten after they outlasted their Portmore rival, Hellshire 29-26 in a St Catherine Netball Association League match at the Ascot High School court last Sunday.

Hellshire had a dreadful start to the game and trailed 1-7 after the first quarter. They struggled to keep pace with the more consistent Marine Park and tried desperately to cut the gap but fell short at the end.

The win saw Marine Park progress to 18 points from six matches. In other games, Friendship won their seventh game in a row after they dismissed Homestead 28-19; Job Lane 'A' stopped Genesis 22-8; while Queens Park edged Westchester 'B' 24-21. The competition continues tomorrow with a full slate of games.
