New dancehall sensation Stylysh amused the huge audience which had converged on the Jamworld Centre, Portmore, for telecommunications giant LIME's back-to-school treat recently with a high-energy performance full of her hard-core slangs and rhymes.

The deejay's saucy sound had the 20,000 strong crowd rocking and many of the females sang her songs line by line, especially Are You Ready, the popular combination with incarcerated dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel.

"I was amazed by the love the fans showed me, and I just wanna say big-up to all the fans and continue to support Stylysh. It seems that the song, Are You Ready with Vybz Kartel has opened a lot of doors for me and it has been getting crazy rotation especially in the US, England and the Caribbean," she said.

She also got a huge forward, one of the biggest of the night, for the song, Me A Wife.

Stylysh, who is signed to Jahsnowcone Entertainment, will next head to The Bahamas to perform on a dancehall show in early October. In the meantime, her single, Star We Show, on the Chase Millz label, continues to get excellent rotation on FM radio and her recent release, Real Hot Gyal on the So Unique rhythm has already generated over 200,000 views on YouTube.

"I will be releasing a new medley video which will premiere early next month," she said.

Billboard hit

She also has a new single called Mi Kitty Like on the Jahsnowcone label, that hit radio like a gale force wind last weekend.

Stylysh first vaulted into the public spotlight with the top-ten hit, Me A Wife, on the dancehall rhythm that also featured the Billboard hit, Popcaan's Only Man She Want.

The LIME back-to-school treat was a huge success as some 20,000 persons congregated in the venue to take full advantage of free health and dental checks, as well as many giveaways of school supplies including laptops, school books and bags.

There were also other opportunities for fun with a kiddies' bounce-a-bout and a petting zoo for young patrons to enjoy. A full line-up of entertainment kept everyone in high spirits throughout the day-long event, which featured other acts such as Tommy Lee, Mr G, Aidonia, Tiana, Ishawna and QQ.
