Congratulations on the wonderful work you are doing. I have learnt so much from you over the years. Your radio show is educating, entertaining and inspiring.

I love the way you always come up with new topics. Some seem simple, but they are beneficial to so many people. Yet, others, at time seem to disagree because of the topics you choose to discuss on your programme. My guess is those people who tend to disagree with you have not yet made the transition in their minds that on your radio show you do not sit as a pastor but as a counsellor.

I have a problem and I need your help and advice. My brother, who is a Jamaican by birth and also a Canadian citizen, has been living in Jamaica for the last 10 years. However, he has mental problems. He is always dirty, smelly, living on the streets, stealing etc. He is from Manchester and frequents Mandeville town and its environs.

Pastor, can you please tell me the name of any private mental-health institution in Jamaica that looks after people with mental-health issues? I would love to help my brother as best as I possibly can. He has children in Canada and I need him to get well so he can go back to Canada and be a part of his children's lives. Thanks for your attention to this matter. I look forward to hearing from you and your staff.

I have been advised that a psychiatrist who works at a private institution admits patients for a short period of time in that institution and does his best to help them. I must emphasise that it is not a long-term, in-house care. I will send you further information by email. I am sure he would be happy to help your brother.
