NEW SEX TOY GIVEAWAY TREND - Items being offered at parties |
|||||
It is commonplace for party promoters to include giveaways for women in their party schedule, however, THE STAR has found that sex toys (dildos) are being given away regularly at some dancehall events. Microwaves, television sets, and wigs were once regular items to be given away as gifts to female partygoers, but nowadays such items may seem a little bit on the boring side. Two weeks ago, at the popular Club Aphrodisiac in Portmore, St Catherine, THE STAR was on hand to witness a competition involving women taking turns to work their tongue over a single dildo which was to be given away. Only a handful of women rushed to the DJ booth when the selector announced, "Wi have a dildo fi gi weh eno but if yu want it yu affi lick it," however, their actions were enough to raise a few eyebrows as they challenged each other to see who would make off with the sex toy. One of the competitors had the club in a frenzy when it was her chance to put her skills on display. After giving the crowd an encore performance and winning the sex toy, the woman, who seemed no more that 25 years old, could be seen proudly parading through the party with her new gift in hand. THE STAR also witnessed a similar competition while at a party in Alligator Pond, St Elizabeth, recently. Only one female reacted to the selector's calls for a brave woman to use her tongue to prove how bad she wanted the dildo. Nevertheless, she too had men and women cheering loudly as she worked her tongue. The 19-year-old woman later told THE STAR she participated because "It's all about fun, plus dis cyaa gimmi no disease." Meanwhile, a number of party promoters and avid partygoers with which THE STAR spoke gave mixed reactions to the new practice. There were some persons who said there is no place for the advertising of sex toys within dancehall, while others had no major issue with it. |
