Couple's case delayed |

There will be more delay in the trial of the case involving the parents of an infant boy whose decomposing body was found in a suitcase. When the couple appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Thursday, the lawyer in the case said he needed more time to review a social enquiry report on the couple. The case was put off and sentencing set for September 6. Alphonso and Stephanie Warren pleaded guilty to the charges of concealment of death and failure to bury the body of a child. They were arrested in January following the discovery of the corpse of their two-year-old son in a suitcase at their home. The post-mortem report indicated that he died more than two months before being discovered.
