Pastor Emma Leon IN ... A special love affair with God

GEORGE HENRY, STAR Writer

It's been a 42-year love affair for Pastor Emma Leon when it comes to her relationship with God. The woman who is currently serving God and His people at the New Beginnings Worship Centre at Lafayette, Louisiana in the United States, said her love for God and his work has been unconditional.

"I have been walking with the Lord for over 42 years, and have been doing so because I have a Love for the Lord, which is beyond measure. I love the Lord, I really love the Lord," bragged the female pastor.

She strongly believes that she was called by the Lord, and according to her, she was called to be an example to others. This she said she has been manifesting because she not only talks the talk, but walks the talk as she lives as an ambassador for God.

Pastor Leon was in Jamaica recently attending the 'Destined for the Throne', which was led by Prophet O'Meal Reid of the People from All Nations Ministry out of Florida, USA, between August 1 and 4 at the Fellowship Tabernacle Church in St Andrew. She said prior to accepting God as her Saviour, she was a girl who grew up on a farm. However, she said making the transition from a farm girl to God's servant was not difficult.

"The spiritual field has given me life. I am in the abundance of life now and I am also now a prophetic minister of the gospel," said Leon.

An ambassador

She explained that the prophetic ministry has been operating in such a way in her life that others have been captured to believe and their interest in the Lord has also been captured. According to Pastor Leon, others have been changed for the better because of the life she has been living for God as an ambassador.

She wants persons who have not started their walk with God not to think or believe that walking with Him is easy, because there will always be trials and tribulations.

As for Pastor Leon, whenever she is faced with challenges she finds more time to pray and fast. She believes that all Christians should allow their life to be one that is controlled and directed by prayer and fasting, because these important elements help in meaningful ways in dealing with challenges whenever they appear.

"One should fast whenever the need arises. One should fast to get closer to God, you fast to put the flesh under subjection, fast to hear from the Lord even clearer; and Christians fast for many spiritual reasons, including to get rid of the natural reasons which could hinder you in your flesh," pointed out Pastor Leon.

She wants those who have not yet started the Christian journey with the Lord to know that unless they start walking with Him they are not walking at all.

"There is life after death, there is a Heaven and there is a Hell; you have to walk with God in order to go to Heaven, you have to walk with God in order to live upon this earth. You cannot pretend all your life in the natural that everything is all right and that you are all right. You have to go the spiritual way because that is the only way," said Pastor Leon.

She wants persons who are quick to say that from they were born they have been hearing that God is coming and He has not reached, to continue to look towards His coming.
