A 31-year-old farmer from Lime Tree district in Trelawny was shot and killed by gunmen yesterday morning.

He has bee identified as Derron 'Borda'James.

According to the Wait-A-Bit police, James and relatives were at home when armed men gained entry to his premises demanding money.

THE STAR understands that the robbers shot James before escaping with $100,000.

The police were alerted and James was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
