Man in custody after wholesale operator's death |

PAULA GORDON, Staff Reporter A man is now in custody in connection with the shooting death of a wholesale operator in rural St Andrew, last month. The dead woman has been identified as Lisa Wang. It was reported in THE STAR that on July 26, Wang was shot dead while visiting a friend in Mount Salus. The police say the woman was standing near her vehicle when a motor car with several men aboard drove up and opened fire. She died on the spot. THE STAR understands that Wang's sister was shot and injured in a previous incident. THE STAR further understands that the suspect whose identity has not been released was pointed out during an identification parade. He is to be charged later this week. |
