Today, we continue with our buzz-worthy feature, Paternity Puzzle. The Paternity Puzzle feature attempts to help families solve paternity disputes. One lucky person each month will get a free test and reveal the truth once and for all. This and every Wednesday, we publish the story of a mother and a suspected father, who will both give their sides in tales of allegations and denials. Be sure to follow the series as THE STAR awards a free DNA test, sponsored by Caribbean Genetics, to the most interesting story for the month. André Williams, STAR Writer Betrayed is how 26-year-old Craig Walkerdescribes the feelings surrounding his current dilemma with ex-girlfriend 24-year-old Latoya Henry. The young man claims that he is presently caught up in a 'raffle' situation that he needs solved. He told THE STAR he was compelled to share his story because he has been saving for a paternity test but as he puts it; "Time is so hard, and the money harder fi come by." Walker, a security guard, and Henry, a sales representative, met in a chat room and became friends before becoming lovers. They were an item for seven years before finally calling it quits. He said: She took me for a fool and things began to play out ... I started to figure out what was taking place. She said: I didn't take him for a fool ... what is he talking about? ... tek him fi fool with what? The two, who agree that they are no longer in a relationship, share one thing in common, they both declare love for the three-year-old boy. He said: Honestly, mi wouldn't mind the result say is mine, cause mi really love the baby. She said: I want the result to say it is his child ... because I know is his child. He said: If the result says no ... mi just have to call it a loss. I would remove his name off my bank book and change him birth certificate. She, however, confidently declares: If the result say no something would be wrong with that test. Henry claims that if the result of the test says the child is his he would continue to support his son and would probably apply for custody as the child had been dropped at her house before and damaged his skull. She said: That situation was an accident and if the result says yes which I am confident it will ... nothing would not change, things would be pretty much the same. The baby obtained the full name of his alleged father, registered Craig Walker Jr. Craig said: The way mi love the baby I gave him my full name! Latoya said: You gave him your name? a weh u a say to me! Craig's doubts began when he claims he overheard a telephone conversation between Latoya and another man, and later discovered a few hickeys on her neck. He said: She tell mi dat she was going to visit her mother and her phone accidentally went off calling me ... I answered only to hear a convo I wasn't to hear! She and di man a do dem thing and when she realise the phone was active she say "Jesus Christ" and hang up. She said: Me and di man never do anything ... we met and him start kiss mi up on my neck and so forth. Is just jealousy why him feel like something went on! Craig also told THE STAR a friend of Latoya confronted him with some enlightening news after he found out she was pregnant. He said: One of her friends tell mi say ... honestly the belly ago raffle! ... If a nuh me, a di next man a country weh mi hear dem over the phone, or a man at her workplace. She said: I don't know nothing bout dat ... she don't know nothing about me! (kisses her teeth) Craig expressed to THE STAR that the situation has caused him to move from his former community to his present location. He said: The community know bout it ... dem tease me wid it ... dem change all mi alias to reflect the situation, re the raffle. She said: I am not sure if dem know ... I don't know what dem know! Craig said: Dem know wah gwan yes, caw dem all tell mi who and who jump mi fence go check her when mi not there! ... Honestly, di baby look like di other man mi learn bout ... me have oval face and the child have elongated face like the other man. Latoya, however, declares; Mi baby look like Craig grandfather!
