With his first production for 21st/Hapilos International Digital Distribution, the company's executive vice-president, Johnny Wonder, says he is pleased with the response he has been getting for the 'Sleep With Angels' rhythm. The dancehall rhythm features acts like Spragga Benz, Tarrus Riley, I-Octane, Flexxx, Ishawna, Charly Black, Khago, Bugle, Stein, DeMarco and Navino. Johnny Wonder explained that he contacted Chimney Records' Jordan McClure some months ago to make a rhythm for him. McClure sent him a rhythm he liked, so he proceeded to voice some artistes on the rhythm then it was later mixed by McClure. Pleased with the end product, Wonder released the rhythm on August 21 on iTunes, then it was sent to radio. "It is my first rhythm for the com-pany 21st Hapilos. It's a great, moving dancehall rhythm. It's not boring, it's nice," Wonder told THE STAR. love and support "It's been playing all over the world. I'm shocked. It's been playing and getting a lot of love, and I really appreciate the support. I didn't think it would be doing like it's doing already." Wonder added that there are more productions in the pipeline, but was mute on their development. Nonetheless, he said 21st Hapilos recently released productions like 'Wild Bubble' and 'Sweet Sounds' rhythms. He said they have also distributed songs like Tommy Lee's Uncle Demon and Vybz Kartel's Street Vybz Girl. Also on the radar is Hapilos Teens' Halloween Party that will be held on October 27, and will feature Tommy Lee. "We do it for the kids, so they have some place to go and gather that's safe," Wonder said.
