Skyy Vodka's 'Rated PG' pool party, held at Kirkland Heights in St Andrew, pulled out hundreds of patrons despite the inclement weather. At 8 p.m., the venue already had patrons clutching to their drink bottles while dancing to the music of Renaissance. The DJ played old-school dancehall songs such as No Letting Go by Wayne Wonder and Sufferer by Bounty Killer. The pool was largely unoccupied. However, two females representing Skyy Vodka kept the concept alive by dancing in the Jacuzzi. In the process the females gained some attention from the males, who became spectators. The event was food-inclusive and also carried special deals on Skyy Vodka where flasks were sold at $500 and $2,500 for 250ml bottles. A dark cloud lingered over the party, echoing the effects of hurricane Isaac; however, the patrons didn't seem to mind as they danced to the sound of Assassin's Cashing Machine and Vybz Kartel's Sen On. The vibe was further intensified when the DJ played Pump Up Har by Sizzla. At this point, dancing partners began to get more physical on the dance floor. This song was followed by an old-school remix of Tommy Lee's Somebwoy the audience loved it. Local celebrities who also shared in the PG rated experience were TJ of TJ Records, singer Denyque, media personality Milk, and Ward 21. Senior marketing officer, Lascelles Wines & Spirits, Ibrahim IB Konteh, was present at the event. According to Konteh, the brand is committed to quality entertainment. "Sexy, trendy and hot are words synonymous to describing Rated PG and Skyy Vodka. It was only natural that we partnered with this event as it was one of the most anticipated events to end summer 2012. Skyy Vodka will continue to partner with events that are patron-centred and about quality entertainment. The reviews from the event are all positive, especially about our new Skyy Infusion's flavoured vodka," he said.
