Warrens' court case delayed

There are even more delays in the case involving the Jamaica-American couple who has pleaded guilty to concealing the death of their two-year-old son.

Alphonso and Stephanie Warren who have still not taken up their bails, had it further reduced to $50,000 in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Tuesday.

The Warrens, who are being represented by attorney-at-law C.J Mitchell, are to return to court on August 23, for sentencing. They have been charged with concealment of death in addition to failure to bury the body of the child.

Little Jeshurun's decomposing body was found in a suitcase at their home on Clifton Road, in St Andrew.

Allegations are that on January 15, residents raised an alarm after they became concerned that the two-year-old had not been seen for some time.

The residents reportedly gained entry to the house where they found his decomposing body in a suitcase.

The police were alerted, the crime scene processed, and the child's body removed to the morgue.

A post-mortem done has showed that the child had died from October 30 last year from natural causes.
