Despite not taking home the Miss World 2012 crown from Ordos, China, supporters have been pouring out kind words of love and appreciation to Miss Jamaica World Deanna Robins on her Facebook Fan Page.

Robins who represented Jamaica at the 62nd annual staging of the Miss World competition made it to the top seven.

The competition was won by China with runners-up Wales and Australia for second and third place, respectively.

Many Jamaicans were hoping that Robins would take home the prestigious crown in celebration of Jamaica's 50th anniversary since its Independence.

Since Jamaica's last victory in the competition in 1993 with Lisa Hanna, no other Jamaican has won.

On Robins' Facebook Fan Page, Tami Mac wrote, "Congrats Deanna. You did us proud!

"Big congratulations Deanna, you were our winner all the way. From what we the TV viewers say the final selection was not very transparent, so it appears very biased. To me you were in the top three. You did us proud ... poise, grace, beauty and intelligence ... Good genes," Sarah Wilkinson-Eytle commented.

Pauline Benaine said, "I still think Jamaica should have won based on the overall competition. She had won or was in the top five for all of the competitions, plus her answer should have given her the crown. China wasn't even on the radar and she came out of nowhere and won. So fixed! It's China after all, and as the host they had to win plus they're probably still ticked that the Americans beat them in the Olympics ... lol.," another supporter said.

Chad McFayden also wrote, "First of all congratz!!! I Just wanna say that you represented Jamaica proud and in our eyes you are Miss World," he said.
