Crystal Harrison, Staff Reporter Many eyes will today be on Miss Jamaica World Deanna Robbins as she attempts to take home the Miss World 2012 title from Ordos, China. Yesterday, Pageantology.net reported that the 21-year-old won the People's Choice Award. Robins got a total of 10,770 votes, to beat Miss Thailand and Miss Nepal who came in second and third, respectively. She also made it into four of the fast-track mini competitions. Robins danced to Bob Marley's Redemption Song and was placed in the top five for the talent competition. In addition, she made it to the top 10 of the top model competition, and was a finalist in the sports and beach beauty fast-track competitions. Since Lisa Hanna's victory in the competition in 1993, no other Jamaican has worn the prestigious Miss World crown.
