Police investigate 6-y-o's death |

The police in Mandeville are investigating the death of six-year-old Shani O'LAcre who was killed after being hit by a car in Greenvale, Manchester, on Wednesday. O'LAcre is a student of the Mandeville Primary School. It is reported that O'LAcre was on his way to his grandmother's house shortly before 6 p.m., when he reportedly ran in the path of a car. He was taken to the Mandeville Regional Hospital where he died while undergoing treatment. It is reported that the driver of the car, who is also a resident of Greenvale, had to be escorted by the police from the hospital as family members got very angry when they found out the child had died. The driver was questioned and released by the Mandeville police. |
