Immensely popular performers such as the gold selling British singer Keisha White, and current dancehall/reggae heavyweights Christopher Martin, Taurus Riley, Etana and Tami Chynn, are among a few of the names that will ignite the Ocean Ridge, Ocho Rios, St Ann, venue when Lone Vybz Entertainment's Glitters 2.0 - Wet & Wild Beach Fiesta takes place this December.

The 'all day and night' event's debut staging is being touted by the head of its marketing team and the night's birthday girl Cynick Chin, aka CC, as being "bigger and better than anything that Jamaica has ever seen", even the Dream and ATI weekends. She hopes that the event can cement its place in the 'must attend events' list for socialites from this showing.

According to CC, although this staging of the event is the first, the vibes and atmosphere present will make it seem as if patrons are accustomed to the event and have been attending it for years.

The construction of a wonderful entertainment package she said will make this effect a reality and bring the experience to new heights.

"I think I have one of the best marketing strategy and team in Jamaica, and I have a lot of people promoting the event so all that's left to do now is to deliver the best possible experience to patrons. We're going to ensure that they will be mesmerised by what they will experience so it's only fair that we pull out all stops for them. For this staging we're going all out. With what we have planned so far, we're confident that patrons will thoroughly enjoy every minute of the event," she said.

Mega giveaways

Leading up to the event, CC said that there will be mega giveaways such as 400 BlackBerry phones, armbands and call credits among other items.

A big road tour is also being planned for November 30 to December 1. It will include places such as Kingston, Portland, Ocho Rios, Mandeville and Montego Bay.

"Look for the giveaways and the road tour that will be happening islandwide! It's going to be an out of this world high-energy event and you'll be glad to have been a part of it. Renaissance Disco, Stone Love, Kurt Riley, ZJ Chrome, ZJ Bambino and DJ Nicco are among those who will be tasked to take patrons on the musical journey at the event.

The admission for the event is $2,500 for a beach pass, $5,000 for a day beach pass and a bronze night pass, $6,000 for a day beach pass and a silver night pass and $7,000 for a day beach pass and a gold night pass.

Tickets for Glitters 2.0 - Wet & Wild Beach Fiesta will be available islandwide in coming weeks.
