Award-winning gospel artiste, songwriter and producer Jermaine Edwards is gearing up for a London summer tour with some surprises along the way. Edwards, capping off an explosive show in Trinidad on August 4, headlining with Gospel Superstar CeCe Winans, will leave Jamaica for a month to meet the demand for his worship style of gospel reggae. The tour, fresh off the Olympic fever, will see the artiste at a season of concerts scheduled for major London hot spots such as Birmingham, Cardiff, Manchester and Brixton - all of which have a heavy appetite for gospel reggae music. The Make you Smile singer, not one to leave out his local market, recently wrapped a triple video shoot of which two were leaked ahead of his label's scheduled timing - the aforementioned hit - whose video currently receives great reviews and a collaboration with veteran reggae artiste Richie Stephens titled It's Not Over. International sound The last video - a yet-to-be-released track with fellow minister DJ Nicholas, is called Never Lose My Faith and is likened to their 2006 youth anthem done with Keven Downswell Nah Bow. This will be released by the end of October. Edwards, the only Jamaican Digicel brand ambassador in gospel, has also worked on new tracks from his No. 1 selling 2011 CD Hideaway. The aim of this is to keep the quality of his music consistent with the international sound. After his London stint, the singer will set his sights towards Africa as plans are being finalised for an African tour scheduled for October 2012.
