An Italian man facing conspiracy to simple larceny and breaches of the Immigration Act was taken back into custody when he appeared in the Spanish Town Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday. Raoul Richiuli, 49-year-old, former employee of New Era Homes 2000, was arrested on suspicion of bigamy when his matter came up for mention. Reports are that while he was out on bail, the police conducted further investigation. It was revealed that he had been married on two occasions without being divorced. Richiuli's appearance initially came about as a result of him being charged with conspiracy to simple larceny. It was further revealed that he did not have a valid work permit or other valuable documentation. |
