WOMAN ATTACKS, BEATS POLICE OFFICERS

An irate woman who assaulted two high-ranking policemen is to appear in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court soon on multiple charges.

The incident which unfolded at the Kingston Public Hospital last week is hot on the lips of several of the policemen's colleagues.

It was revealed that the woman approached a police inspector properly dressed in uniform.

She allegedly accused him of having an affair with someone else.

"Yes mon, she just started to drape the spec and box him and punch the big man. Another spec tried to defend his colleague, he too was attacked," a concerned police personnel said.

It was revealed that the second inspector, in addition to having his clothes torn, was also bitten on his finger.

THE WEEKEND STAR was told that a sergeant who came on the scene intervened and the female was eventually subdued.

She was arrested and charged with malicious destruction of property, assault, unlawful wounding and disorderly conduct.

There are contending views as to why the woman had attacked the senior policeman.
