Bail in the sum of $400,000 has been granted to the taxi-operator who has been accused of the murder and abduction of Trinidadian school teacher, Michelle Coudray-Greaves.

As a condition of Ivan Taylor's bail, he is to report to the Whithorn Police Station in Westmoreland three times per week.

In addition, a stop order has been placed at all ports and Taylor has been told not to interfere with witnesses.

He is scheduled to return to the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate's Court on October 29.

Taylor has been in custody since June 11, three days after Coudray-Greaves was reported missing.

The Westmoreland taxi driver is said to be one of the last persons to have seen her alive.

Days after Coudray-Greaves went missing, a burnt body was found in a cane field in St James.

Following a dental analysis, the identity was confirmed.

A second post-mortem conducted on the body revealed that her death was caused by injuries to the right side of the head by a blunt instrument.
