According to a report in The Sun, a total of 91 foreign nationals were charged with murder and 406 accused of rape across England and Wales last year.

The data, THE STAR understands, was obtained from the police forces.

According to the report, Jamaicans accounted for the most rape suspects with a total of 19.

Eleven suspects were Nigerians, 10 Australians and 11 Polish.

In London, a total of 197 people were charged with murder. Included in this figure were 40 immigrants.

In addition, of the 547 people charged with rape in the past 12 months in London, 174 were non-UK citizens.

In Kent, a staggering 53 per cent of the 17 murder suspects were non-UK citizens, including four people from India and three from Romania.
