Police destroy 6,000kg of ganja, hash oil

Police from the Transnational Crime and Narcotics Division destroyed over 6,000 kilograms of ganja and hash oil with an estimated street value of over $17 million on Saturday.

According to a report from the Constabulary Communication Network, the drugs were seized between 2010 and this year and were used as exhibits in criminal cases that have been disposed of by the courts.

The drugs were destroyed at a burning site in the Corporate Area.
