22-y-o remanded for housebreaking, larceny |

A man accused of breaking into a house in Patrick City recently was remanded in custody when he appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Friday. Charged with housebreaking and larceny is 22-year-old Jason Lewis of a Duhaney Park address. The court was told that Lewis and a man known only as 'Pelow' forced their way into the complainant's house on the day in question at 1:45 p.m. beaten by a mob Citizens were alerted after a neighbour saw them entering the home. They were attacked and beaten by a mob. It was also revealed that Pelow escaped with chop wounds. Lewis, however, was not so fortunate as he was held and turned over to the police. RM Lorna Shelly Williams made a fingerprint order on Lewis and he is to return to court on Wednesday. |
