BEATEN TO DEATH FOR LOST BOAT

A man of unsound mind who was reportedly beaten and left to die at sea over a missing fishing boat was found dead on the Rae Town Fishing Beach last Saturday.

Dead is 37-year-old Roger Robinson who was reportedly badly beaten in his head with a paddle.

Reports from the police are that Robinson who was of unsound mind went out to sea on a fishing boat without permission from the owner last Thursday.

It is reported that two men who learned about Robinson's frolicking at the sea took another boat to look for him.

The police are theorising that he was badly beaten on Thursday, thrown overboard and his body resurfaced couple days later.

Robinson's body was found by the police last Saturday sometime after 9 a.m.

THE STAR understands that he was deported from the United States of America 10 years ago.

Further reports are that he was a popular face in and around the area where he was killed as he would sleep in random boats and exercise on the beach.

The Kingston Eastern police say they are following strong leads.
