Four men have been charged in connection with the July 7 killing at the Valley High Villa in Cardiff Hall, Runaway Bay, St Ann.

Dead is 36-year-old Gavin Campbell who was reportedly vacationing with his family at the villa.

Twenty-two-year-old Mark Brown, 20-year-old Lorenzo McDonald, 22-year-old Kevin Bailey and 20-year-old Eric Ramgeet have been charged.

They are due in court next week.

It is reported that about 10:30 p.m., men armed with guns, machetes and knives pounced on the family at the villa. They reportedly demanded money and jewellery.

During a tussle with members of the family, Campbell was shot.

Further reports are that one of the men, who was seriously injured in the melee is in hospital under police guard.
