High energy at Bachelor Chef Cookout
Sadeke Brooks, Staff Reporter

After the delectable food came a relatively high-energy party at Bachelor Chef Cookout that was held on Surbiton Road in St Andrew, recently.

As it neared 5 p.m., cars began to line both sides of the road. Guests then ventured into the complex and around to the back of the house where the event was being held.

Those in attendance had their pick of foods like fish, pasta, chicken, pork, red velvet cake, chocolate chip cookies, and other desserts. While patrons enjoyed the food, they listened to music being played by Zinc Fence. The sound system played songs like Nicki Minaj's Superbass, Rihanna's Don't Stop The Music and Neyo's Closer.

Later in the evening, Narity raised the energy level with Flo Rida's Wild Ones and Kid Cudi's Day And Night. After a small glitch, patrons were treated to a dancehall version of Riding Dirty from Vybz Kartel and Supa Hype. He followed up with Bogle's All Dem Deh that had people doing the 'Willie Bounce' dance move. Narity played Vybz Kartel's Locked Up remix and teased with the artiste's recently released Back To Life, before selecting Sizzla's Free Me. He also played favourites like Erup's Click Mi Finger, Anthony B's Tease Har and Beenie Man's Hum Hum.

By now, the dancing increased and Chromatic helped to build the vibe with Usher's Love In This Club and Kelly Rowland's Motivation, then moving seamlessly into Jah Cure's Unconditional Love.

"Di cookout shot, food caan run out," a selector from Chromatic said.

Later in the night, ZJ Liquid added his bit to the event.
