Tappa calls locals to camp

National Senior team coach, Theodore 'Tappa' Whit-more has called a training camp of senior team local-based players to begin training today.

The camp will run until Thursday and has been called in preparation for the upcoming international friendly against El Salvador to be played on August 15 at the RFK Stadium in Washington DC, World Cup qualifiers against the USA in Kingston on September 7, and away on September 11.

These continuing camps are also in preparation for Jamaica's defence of the Digicel Caribbean Cup to be held later this year.

The 26-member squad, which includes Camperdown schoolboy Rashaun Patterson and St George's College pair Kareen Manning and Kendon Anderson respectively, will train at the Edward Seaga Sports Complex this afternoon.
