Alleged car thieves to face court |

|
The three men implicated in the theft of a Toyota Probox motor car fom St Andrew recently, reappeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Thursday. Garfield Walker, charged with simple larceny and receiving stolen property, who had pleaded guilty on his prior appeareance, is set to be sentenced on July 8. Meanwhile, Felhue Johnson and Jodane Coore both pleaded not guilty to simple larceny and receiving stolen property and will go to trial on August 14. All three were remanded until their respective dates. The court had heard that on June 11 about 7:30 p.m., the car, which is valued at $760,000, was stolen from a premises in Queensborough, St Andrew. The car was recovered the following day about 7:45 a.m. in Manchester by cops who saw the disabled vehicle on the side of the roadway and observed that it had been tampered with. |
