A man is now in custody in connection with the shooting death of the operations manager of Sparkles Production on Thursday evening.

Dead is 39-year-old Shango Jackson from Beverley Hills, St Andrew.

Reports from the police are that Jackson was at his home on Shenstone Drive shortly after six, when he had a dispute with another man who shot him.

THE STAR understands that the shooter, whose identity has not been released, has been taken into custody.

His licensed firearm was seized and his hands swabbed.
