International reggae singer Spanner Banner is looking to return to the top of the charts, as his latest single titled Happiness on the Daily Bread rhythm continues to gain momentum.

Since its release over a month ago, Happiness has enjoyed heavy rotation both locally and abroad.

"This song is a sure hit, I am getting a lot of positive comments from fans about it. I must commend Clive Hunt and the Bonner Cornerstone Music team for doing a fantastic job on this single," he said.

Spanner Banner who came to prominence in the late '80s with the unforgettable song, Life Goes On, has an enviable track record as a hitmaker. Over the last two decades, he has remained a favourite among reggae lovers as a result of his ability to pen and record timeless hits like Tease Me, Michelle, Live & Learn, Chill, Universal Love and What We Need Is Love.

In 2010, he was voted as the biggest comeback artiste of the year at the EME Awards, based on the success of his 2009 hit, the Donovan Germaine-produced Rolling Stones, which topped several reggae charts around the world.

Spanner Banner is also promoting another new track titled Another Man's Baby, which was produced by Lenky Marsden.
