Spragga Benz on MMG Empire remix |

Spragga Benz Dancehall star Spragga Benz is no stranger to collaborations with international acts, having done so with the likes of Foxy Brown, Nas and Wyclef Jean. Now, his latest collaboration on the big stage comes with one of the biggest groups in the hip-hop/rap genre, Maybach Music Group (MMG). The MMG is a record label that consists of entertainers like founder Rick Ross, Wale, Meek Mill and Omarion. On Monday, a video titled, 'The Making Of MMG Empire Remix (Magazeen featuring Wale and Spragga Benz)', surfaced on the group's YouTube page, 'Maybach Music Group'. Of the three entertainers mentioned in the title, only Magazeen and Spragga Benz are seen in studio apparently recording what Magazeen calls, MMG Empire Remix. a taste of his ability "Right now we're at We The Best Studio working on MMG Empire," he states before delivering lines such as, "Dem caan hold back dis Jamaican nigga /Dem caan hold back dis Jamaican nigga / Maga blowing up mi got the street pon fire / MMG dat a di empire." Spragga Benz gives a taste of his ability on a non-dancehall beat with lines like, "Step out a world and everywhere mi face deh pon a flyer / Turn on mi TV me an Ky-Mani Marley a lock it iah." According to the Jamaica-born Magazeen who is among the latest to be signed to MMG, it was "only fair" to include Spragga Benz on the track. "MMG Empire Remix yuh si wah mi a seh? And it's only fair fi put a real Jamaican nigga pon di set. Movie star/artiste/producer/everything big ... Maga dat, Spragga dat, MMG, tun up," he said in the video. On the rise rapper Ace Hood is also featured in the video. |
