Darkcide International boss Raymond 'Shadow' Small says Darkcide will execute one last event alongside former co-worker ZJ Wah Wa before completely ending working relations.

The upcoming event is called Guinness Club Hamma, and will be hosted at Hotel Versalles in Clarendon on June 29.

"This is the last event that we will be doing as a unit because it was one of our earlier agreements," Shadow said.

According to the promoter, publicist and artiste manager, Darkcide has a huge fan base in Clarendon and the main idea behind the event was to share the Hamma Fridays experience with the people of Clarendon.

"The brand Hamma is well established and Darkcide has a big fan base in Clarendon, so we decided to bring the concept of 'Hamma' down there. May Pen is not a place where a lot of events are hosted so we wanted to bring the experience to the patrons down that side," he said.

However, as it relates to his involvement in the weekly Hamma Fridays event hosted in Kingston, Shadow disclosed that Darkcide would no longer be part of the promotional team.

"I have decided to remove myself from the promotional group. I am going to pursue my own endeavours, because I don't want any unnecessary animosity," Shadow said.

Darkcide Sound is gearing up to release a new mixtape called 'Hostile Takeover', featuring DJ Calico and DJ Acid.

"The mixtape will be high energy and also feature dubs and skits. Darkcide has been known to have some lasting mixtape hits and we have been a brand over six years, and this brand has helped to build many of the acts who were affiliated with it," Shadow said.

News broke late last month that ZJ Wah Wa and his management company, Darkcide International, had separated and would no longer be conducting any business together.

Guinness Club Hamma is the final event that the ZJ and his former management company will collaborate on.

DJs booked to play Guinness Club Hamma include ZJ Wah Wa, Darkcide Sound and DJ Toxic.

Since ZJ Wah Wa's departure, Shadow has gone on to sign a new DJ called So Sick. The upcoming Darkcide mixtape will be accessible at facebook.com/darkcide.
