Elephant Man is blazing this summer with hit singles

Elephant Man

International recording artiste Elephant Man is blazing this summer as he has conquered several charts with his combination single, Siddung Pon It, featuring Lady Saw.

The single hit #1 on the FIWI Choice Top Ten charts, and hit #8 on the ER Dancehall charts as well. In the meantime, his latest Dash Wata single, produced on the Very Huge Productions/Q45 label, is generating a big buzz at street dances in the Corporate Area and clubs all over Jamaica.

"Right now, it's a great look for Elephant Man, the deejay hot, Dash Wata gone wid the summer. Boom Boom blaze it ah Weddy Weddy the other day with a high energy, and the crowd respond with crazy money pulls-ups and ting. Summer good. Summer slap weh!" an enthusiastic Chester Walker, the producer of the single, said in a release.

The video for Dash Wata, directed by Terminal 4 Media, was released last week.

Elephant Man has also raised his international profile as he did a collaboration with East London rapper Kano for the rapper's upcoming fourth solo studio album. The album is set for release later this year. Elephant Man was pleased to have been in studio with the superstar entertainer.

"The vibe was great. Mi love the experience and it feel good to know seh him call mi up, and me and him inna the studio a work. Mi just a represent fi di dancehall. It want just two good artistes working together," said Elephant Man.

Elephant Man has seen his stocks rise since he re-engaged the services of well-known entertainment manager, Q45, with whom he had a well-publicised falling-out a few years ago. The deejay recently performed at a nightclub in New Jersey, USA,

"Right now, Elephant Man is positioned to do well this summer. We have stepped up promotion in the streets, he is getting a lot of airplay, and doing quality singles that the public can gravitate towards. He is a dynamic entertainer, a proven figure in dancehall who can pull out crowds, and deliver high-energy performances to rock any audience. Ele is back and there's no stopping him," Q45 said in a release.

Elephant Man is one of the island's most popular and accomplished entertainers and is known for his powerful live performances and outlandish fashion sense. He has tasted international success with singles such as Jook Gal featuring Kiprich, Twista and Youngbloodz, which peaked at #57 on the US Hot 100 chart in 2004 and Pon Di River which peaked at #86 on the Hot 100 in 2003.

Other singles such as Willie Bounce, Nuh Linga and Five O featuring Wyclef Jean, hit the Billboard R&B/Hip Hop charts.
