Dead bodies found in open lot |

Police investigators at the crime scene on Trafalgar Road in St Andrew yesterday morning. - Norman Grindley The Area Four police are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of two men whose bodies were discovered in an open lot along Trafalgar Road in New Kingston early yesterday morning. Based on information reaching THE STAR, officers from the Half-Way Tree Police Station were called to the gruesome scene after a pedestrian stumbled on the bodies in bushes. lying face down According to reports, when the police arrived on the scene, one of the bodies which was lying face down had a wound to the back of the head and the other which was found face up had a wound to the left eye. It is strongly believed that the men were stoned to death as stones with blood stains were found close to the bodies. A source at the Half-Way Tree CIB confirmed that the bodies had several wounds which appeared to be inflicted by the use of a sharp instrument and stones. g-string There were also widespread rumours allegedly created by eyewitnesses that one of the men was clad in a G-string underwear. Our source could not confirm that allegation, however, our news team was told that no motive had been established and investigation into the matter continues as the scene was processed for clues which would aid the investigators. The New Kingston area in recent weeks seems to be the designated place for such findings as a similar discovery led investigators to Dumfries Road a few weeks earlier, after passers-by stumbled on the body of what appeared to be a man with his head partially severed lying in a gully. - A.W. |
