Jahiant shows positive signs for continued growth

Portmore-based entertainer Markland Campbell said he intends to continue his musical journey to fullfil his potential.

Campbell, who goes by the stage name Jahiant, just returned from a United States tour.

"I am doing very good at this time as my management is doing very well. I have now expanded into a clothing line," Jahiant said.

The artiste, who has released singles such as Anytime She Come Mi Yard, Life Is The Limit, and She Loves Me Not, said his songs are getting steady rotations and a video has been released for his hit single Ghetto Lifestyle No Easy.

This song is making waves in America and even in the Philippines, and regionally in Trinidad.

Campbell said it is a good feeling to see some positive energy flowing from his music.

Campbell, who is under the management of Jah Bless Independent Records, said there are positive signs for his continued growth.

"Right now, Jahiant is music and fashion, with eyewear, shoes, and, clothing being a part of the thing. It is good," the pint-sized entertainer said beaming.

He told THE PORTMORE STAR that he wrote the material for his songs and his development augurs well for all concerned.

"My songs represent love, peace, and reality, which is needed if we are to grow. my input is artistic," Campbell said.
